Ryan Pastorek

Ryan is who you want in your foxhole. He is a man of dependability and integrity, and he fights day and night for his clients.

Ryan was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduating from Loyola University New Orleans, he moved to the west coast to be a filmmaker. He started working at a startup distribution company and found his calling, not as talent, but in working on behalf of talent. He returned to New Orleans for law school at Loyola (following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather), earned an MBA there as well, and returned to Los Angeles fully equipped with the tools to tackle any problem.

Because of his creative background, Ryan possesses a unique perspective and insight into his clients’ artistic businesses. As an entrepreneur, he is a first-mover in representing talent in emerging markets. As a lawyer, Ryan is detailed, driven and a dogged negotiator. He expects the best outcome, but plans for the worst.

Ryan is at the forefront of entertainment pursuits in the digital world. Over the last 14 years, he has built a diverse list of clients in the ever-expanding universe of new media. He represents talent native to digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram and Twitch, guides traditional talent pursuing podcasts and NFTs, acts as a de-facto general counsel to small and large company clients, and helps build talent-led consumer goods brands in the apparel, beauty, food and beverage categories. Most recently, he’s negotiated some of the biggest podcast licensing deals in the industry.

Ryan’s unique mix of creative, business and legal advocacy allows him to continually push the envelope for his clients.

Ryan lives in Topanga Canyon with his dog Brutus. He is a board member of the Topanga Historical Society, and enjoys national parks, woodworking and photography.
